Montreal’s summer line up for electronic artist is filling up! First Tiesto on Grand Prix Weekend, now Afrojack will be headlining a show at Metropolis featuring R3hab and Quintino on June 26th! Tiesto Coming to Brand New MTL Venue – Montreal Monday’s

It’s official! World famous DJ and producer, Tiesto, is coming to Montreal for Grand Prix Weekend this June! Announced early last week, the electronic music sensation will be performing at a brand new Montreal live music venue called New City Gas on Thursday June 7th. Still under renovation, the 3000 person hall located at 172 Dalhousie, smack in the middle of downtown Montreal is expected to sell out for the show. So other than those who have got themselves weekend passes to Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, Tiesto will be the hottest ticket in the city! The show will also featuring opening acts from Sultan Ned Sheppard and Etienne Ozborne so you it will not be a show to miss!

Drumming Through the Night – Montreal Monday’s

His name’s Ryan Stevenson and after having metal, rock, to pop-rock bands his whole life with numerous music videos on Musique Plus and songs on the radio he has recently launched his solo career. As a ‘solo-artist’ this summer has been the highlight of his career! After being the opening act for Booba and Soprano, remixing some track’s with DJ Battle, DJ of La Fouine and collaborating with guys like Imposs at K-Maro, he met The Bilz and Kashif with who he started to travel to places like Florida and even recently this summer to South America! After launching his own club tour as his ‘solo project’ under the name ‘Ryan Stevenson’ or even ‘RJWS’, he met one of Montreal’s top DJ’s: DJ Huggies with whom he decided to join forces with for the remainder of his tour. Since then, the duo has performed at several clubs in the Montreal, South Shore and Ontario area’s on a weekly basis. This past summer the duo killed a bunch of festivals such as Lac des Nations in Sherbrooke in front of 40,000 people! The list goes on and on but it includes events such as Les Francofolies de Montreal, Le Festival Juste Pour Rire, F1 Grand prix weekend and performances with T-Pain and Mohombi!

It’s been a pleasure to get to meet a guy like Ryan and recognize that he is the type of guy who is always pushing to go further and further.
