While Kid Cudi was a no show, Eminem stole the big ticket on the first night of three for this weekend’s upbeat and cultural music festival! Osheaga brought thousands and thousands of loyal fans to Parc Jean Drapeau to see their favourite’s such as: Lupe Fiasco, Cypress Hill, Death Cab for Cutie, Elvis Costello, Janelle Monae and Eminem to name a few headliners. However, at the same time, this weekend seemed to be all about some of the top canadian musicians. The three day’s were packed with canadian favourites such as City and Colour, Bran Van 3000, The Tragically Hip, and Sam Roberts who put on a fantastic performances The City of Montreal has been blessed with some incredible festivals like these and if you missed out this year be sure to check out http://www.osheaga.com for the 2012 dates because bigger things are expected for next year!
